Has anyone put custom chopper mirrors on their truck to customize it?
Question by Bob B: Has anyone put custom chopper mirrors on their truck to customize it?
Is this illegal since the mirrors are a little bit smaller? What mirrors did you buy?
Okay thanks a lot. I saw one truck that Arlen Ness installed the mirrors on it and they put a custom chrome panel on the door by the window and I think it was welded on or maybe it was bolted and the panel just covered it up but it didn’t look like it vibrated to much. Thanks a lot for your input

As a state vehicle inspector I have seen alot of these mirrors used and they are legal in alot of states because the laws reads that you must be able to see behind you 200 feet, the problem is that since they are somewhat unstable they will vibrate alot and then you will not be able to see clearly.
Hope that this help….
