American Chopper – Senior vs Junior Episode 6
Due to York PA’s bike weekend I didn’t get time to watch episode 6 of the new American Chopper until last night. I know many of you stop in every Friday to check out my latest blog posts. Sorry for the delay; which is going to be at least another day as I have got to get going to work. Promise I’ll have my completely non professional opinion of the episode posted by tomorrow am including Senior’s attempt at actually undermining Paulie’s business..

This show actually keeps getting better!I have to admit I was extremely disappointed in the lack of bike building in the first couple of episodes, but now we are seeing our share at both shops. Thanks, TLC! While Seniors shop built a very tasteful OCC chopper with a fold down gas tank for the FBI and the Newburgh police dept. Junior continued both of his builds: the new Geico bike and Anti-Venom; his latest web themed bike.
Junior brings Lee up from down south to work on the Geico bike, which he does for exacty one day before quitting without notice over Junior’s poor work habits. But not before Senior attempts to buy him off with a $1000 dollar a day offer to come work at OCC instead of Pal Jr designs. Being a man of his word( kind of) Lee refuses, of course, but he still quits on Paulie.
If you DVR’d or Tivo’d this one(does anyone still TIVO?)you’ll want to watch it tonight I’m sure..
Just watched the Sturgis show and am really getting tired of Paul Sr. belittling his son. It is aparent that Sr is the one with the personallity defects. His constant barage of putdowns have shown how shallow he realy is. Success doesn’t necesarily bring happiness and I’m not sure Sr. even knows what he’s lost with his sons. As far as watching the show Sr. needs to be removed quick or the show will be in the tubes. America isn’t stupid and they don’t like Dad’s like Paul Sr. What a loser in ever way!!! Hats off to Jr coming out as well as he has with a father who’s example that he grew up with shows that he is the real man in that family.
I agree with first remark. . .I am tired of how Sr who I think grew as a bike builder because of the wild ideas and theme bikes from Jr. . .I think Sr is a horrible father, has no idea what family is all about which is very evident since he has no family members left. I agree with the removal of Sr from the show. . .he is burnt out old hateful and it shows in ever show. . .while Jr may be picky on his bikes, he has the right to be it is his business, his ideas that he wants built. For his father to belittle him on every show that is not acceptable. . .I watch the show to see Jr and Vinnie build bikes. . .would love to see them dump old Sr off!
At first the programme was a one off and you could say interesting to watch. Perhaps all the messing about was purely for the cameras in order to gain ratings. One thing you have to say about Snr, apart from the fact he is an idiot, was he was the one who instigated all the arguments, smashing windows, punching doors, crashing vehicles….what an example to set to your kids and co-workers. It’s the best thing that has happened to Jnr and that was to branch off on his own…his father is a prat….I cannot believe how he belittles Mikey and Jnr in front of his staff, these are without doubt the most important things in a parents life and that is your kids….I hope Snr goes bust because the arse lickers who work for him are probably taking the Michael behind his back…to you Americans that means taking the p##s.
I actually think Paul Sr is the most entertaining part about the show and has the most star quality, even though I am pulling for Junior because he is more of the artist.
Oh, and I know the blogger was laughing at the tail on the Geico bike but it really looks nice when the bike is viewed from the back. Not crazy about the two headlights but I could see what they were going for because of the Geico eyes.
In Australia we are just now getting Snr vs Jnr, Being Ossies, we lve seeing the underdogs get up. It appears Snr is not supporting his sons. He should be proud of his sons and Vinnie as well. As they built his media profile and bike fabrication business! Get real Snr love your boys unconditionally, money, fame and blunt is not real, family is everything, life is short?
I think Paul Sr. had to ride Jr. because of his constant poor work ethic. It is very unfortunate that Sr. belittled his sons around the other guys. However, his sons belittled their dad over the radio. It will be interesting to see if Jr. maintains the same work ethic in his “own” business. I’d be mean and hateful too if I had to ride my son’s butt everyday about showing up late and staying on task. When you have a business to run you don’t have time to hold little Paulie’s hand. Mikey needs to get a job and Jr. needs to stop being a self-centered primna donna and start thinking of OCC like a business. Though that might be too late…
I THINK PAUL JR. LACKS WORK ETHIC, CREATIVITY, RESPONSIBILITY, AND ALSO IS ONE OF THE LAZIEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN. HE ILL NOT BE SUCCESSFUL.
SENIOR SPENT HIS LIFE BUILDING HIS BUSINESS AND HIS LAZY DRUNKEN SON THINKS THEY DID ANY THING TO HELP, NONSENSE. JUNIOR IS A JERK WHO ISN’T LOYAL TO HIS WIFES DREAMS, HIS FATHERS DREAMS, OR EVEN HIMSELF. MIKEY IS JUST A FAT DRUNKEN SLOBWHO HAS NO TALENT AND NO FUTURE. H4E WILL FIND HIMSELF BACK ON THE SAUCE SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.

Unleash the fury Jim, gotta love caps lock. Unfortunately I can not agree with that side of it. Paul Sr has built the company, but even is senior designing the bikes? No Jason is, just as Paul was designing the bikes. Senior is a business man not a designer. I like Juniors designs and Jason has made some great bikes this season as well, but unfortunately all I have seen senior do is sue his son, and get him dog a wheel car since he lost a leg, and sue his son again. working and subscribing to DISH I watch every show id crystal clear HD, so I get to enjoy the bikes even more, but no picture quality will give that mug of Paul Sr any prettier.
Paul Sr. will not build a better bike then Paul Jr. nor will Paul Jr. build a better bike then Paul Sr. it is not a matter of better but just different !!!
Well what do you know another geeky bike building? I never liked this show at first but the challenges on the past few seasons made me reconsider. I can’t wait to have this as a recreational activity for me and my kids!
