American Chopper: Senior vs Junior – Paul Jr. Starts a bike
You may recall that in my last post on the whole OCC saga Episode Two Senior vs Junior, I said that a real businessman wouldn’t wait for clients, he would just start building bikes. At the end of last night’s Episode, Paulie announces to the rest of the Paul Jr. designs crew that they are going to build a shop bike. As you might have guessed it would become one of the two bikes that were unveiled at Sturgis.
Meanwhile Orange County Choppers builds a bike for Esab welders and I noticed that Paul Jr. is using Lincoln welders when I visited his online clothing store, which is all his website currently is. OK both bikes have been revealed, why wouldn’t you immediately put photos of the builds on your website? I don’t know, probably some deal with TLC.
The rest of this episode centered around the now famous court case of Paul Sr suing Paul Jr to get his 20% of the business back. I think the entire coverage of the chopper build couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes, and shown absolutely nothing of final assembly. I really think that the producers of American Chopper are missing the mark here: the reason the ratings fell the last time around was too much focus on the personal lives and not enough on the bikes. Now we have an entire show devoted to their personal feud.

For the first time since the new season started, I’m excited about a bike build!
Junior and Vinny’s bike is probably going to be the best bike ever built on the show!
Great chopper bikes! Creating and designing cool bikes like this.
I just started watching again recently as the yelling and screaming just got old. I find the show interesting again and am absolutely amazed at how childish Paul Sr. has acted in the two espisodes I’ve seen. I understand a lawsuit to settle their differences; sometimes that’s the only way things can be resolved. Sending a Paul Sr. look alike over to Jr.’s shop just to cause start something and then in the next episode he puts on the shades and does a lame Paul Jr. impression. The both seem to act like idiots when they’re together, but Paul Jr. is looking like a much more rational and reasonble guy from what I’ve seen, lately.
I used to like watching the early shows when they were actually making bikes for people like Billy Joel, Jay Leno etc, but that screeming bastard Paul Sr. who has the mentality of a 2 year old has got to go. I don’t care if the business started with him , I can’t stand his attitude and I stopped watching it. Belittling his sons and making fun of them on the show (drama or not) is pathetic. Besides , Sr. can’t do squat without the help of all his employees and he loved his dog more than his sons. He is one messed up jurk who needs a check up from the neck up and should be off the show completely. No more OCC for me. CM
That is such a gorgeous bike. i would buy it no matter who made it, but the fact that paul jr has made it means that i need to take quick action and get out and buy it ,even if I have to take a high interest loan lol
