According to http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100414/BIZ/4140346/-1/news Paul Teutul JR is opening up a competing cutsom chopper shop right in Montgomery and will be featured on all new episodes of American Chopper that have Paul Sr competing with Paul Jr.
Paul Jr has not announced any planned choppers as of yet but is promising to bring back some OCC favorites; which we’re assuming means former employees. Some other sites are reporting the Vinne and Cody are on that list but the staff here at Choppers (me) doesn’t think that will happen.
Not sure what the actual “competition” is since these guys are not “local bike builders” and their proximity to each other is not really relevant to whether their rivals or not as much as the whole father/son thing. I personally think Paul Jr will need to move beyond cartoon choppers and back to the artistic designs he originally started with.

Choppers Sunglasses

Until this morning I didn’t even know that these things existed. I knew sunglasses existed of course; just not these ones called choppers. When did I miss this? Apparently these are all the rage in the motorcycle community. Real bikers or just posers? I really don’t know. What is a real “biker” anyway? Pretty sure I’m not one, just happen to ride one of my bikes almost everyday.
I go to a lot of biker events but I honesty don’t look at the sunglasses. They’re supposed to protect your eyes so $10.00 eye protection does not appeal to me.
They do look cool, I’ll give them that but I’ll keep my $300 bullet proof prescription sunglasses any day. My eyes are more important than looking cool. But I digress. OK I do like them. I just get the shits of watching weekend warriors and biker wannabes trying to “look” like a biker.
I myself do not “look” like a biker. At least not intentionally. Probably because I ride year round and need to dress for protection from the elements. Back to the Choppers sunglasses.
Yeah so as I said, I never heard of these.

This is cool. Found this post on cool chopper mods. I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t include my Batbike, (which is currently being redone for extra coolness) but hey I’ll let them slide on that one. I’m sure the next version will get some attention.
