22 year old male in the state of Virginia banking with Wachovia. I make about 25k a year and am looking to get a 5500 loan for a motorcycle, not from a dealer. What are my choices? What’s the best route?

there are some loan company’s that might not ask for a credit check, but most places do and since you have no credit, than most likely they will ask for a co-signer.

Check with your bank and see if they have such a loan plan. Wachovia would have a pretty good idea of how you run your account, do you normally have a good balance or do you have returned checks. Having a good savings in the bank counts in your favor also. You might start out with a high interest rate loan if you have no credit history, but you can refinance that later when you have proven yourself.
